What do Melusina and Cinderella have in common? What makes their stories different from a story like Frozen? Today I’ll be meeting with the third and fourth graders at the International School of Luxembourg to talk about what makes folktales special. We’ll explore folktales that were collected right here in Luxembourg and how I am adapting some of those tales into a new series of children’s books called Tales from Little Lucilinburhuc.
